Thank you for visiting our website. The Golden Hawks Birthday Club has ended for the season. But visit us in September 2010 for the beginning of the new football season when we begin taking registrations for the September 4 game-the Iowa Hawkeyes take on Eastern Illinois in Iowa City. We hope to hear back from you then. Go Hawks!
The Golden Hawkeye Birthday club is an exciting new way
for you to say “Happy Birthday” to that special
Hawkeye fan in your family that is turning at least 62
years old. During EVERY football
game this season the Golden Hawkeye Birthdays will be
announced on the Hawkeye Radio Network live during the
Hawkeye Gameday Show hosted by Jim Albracht. Be sure to
revisit this page following the broadcast as we will post
each Golden Hawkeye Birthday segment on this page for
you to download and have as a keepsake on the following
Wednesday.
In addition to our football radio segment, Golden Hawkeye
Birthdays will also be announced in Carver-Hawkeye Arena
at all HOME Hawkeye Wrestling
and Women’s Basketball games.
Please click on the link below to register and indicate
which football, women’s basketball or wrestling
event you would like your Golden Hawkeye to be recognized
at least 7 days before the event. Only the first 10 submissions
per event will be able to be announced due to time constraints
but all registrants will receive a special Golden Hawkeye
birthday card from Oaknoll & Hawkeye Athletics.
